Clear boundaries. Less data. Teacher judgement stays in charge.
This page explains how AusTeacher handles planning context, payments and generated material, and what teachers must check before using a plan with a class.
Privacy by design
Use class context, never student names, diagnoses, confidential records or identifying details.
Your account may store the profile, timetable, curriculum position, saved plans, subscription status and lesson credits needed to provide the service.
Card details and payment authentication are handled by Stripe-hosted checkout. AusTeacher does not ask you to type card numbers into its planning screens.
Support requests and optional feedback are used to resolve issues and improve the service. Keep them free of identifying student information.
You can ask support about access, correction or deletion of account information, subject to legal and operational record-keeping requirements.
Before you teach
Review every generated plan before classroom use.
Check curriculum fit, accessibility, timing, resources, safety and your school’s policies.
Edit student-facing language and instructions for the age and needs of your class.
Confirm that websites, media, equipment and activities are appropriate and available.
Keep professional judgement in charge: AusTeacher is planning support, not an automatic authority.
Service and payment terms
AusTeacher creates editable curriculum-aware planning drafts, timetable views, printable materials, Teach-Live views and TRT handoffs.
AusTeacher does not claim official approval by a curriculum authority, education department or school system.
Generated material can contain errors or need local adaptation. No lesson is guaranteed to suit every class, setting or school requirement.
Paid access is governed by the product, price, billing period, credit allowance and renewal information shown before payment.
Accounts, credits or access must not be resold, shared outside the permitted use, or used to submit harmful, unlawful or privacy-invasive requests.
ACARA does not endorse AusTeacher. AusTeacher is not affiliated with, sponsored by or approved by ACARA. Teachers should check the curriculum version, content description, achievement standard and their local jurisdiction or school requirements before use.
What AusTeacher is—and is not
AusTeacher helps teachers organise a year, term, week or day and generate editable classroom materials from the curriculum context they provide. It supports planning; it does not replace your curriculum authority, school program, safeguarding obligations, professional standards or professional judgement.
Do not use AusTeacher as a student-record system. Describe a class in broad, teacher-facing terms and remove identifying information before submitting any request.
